You've worked hard.
You've carried responsibility.
You've tried to do everything right.
Maybe you've been asking questions you've never been able to answer.
Why do I always feel responsible for everyone else?
Why do I struggle to rest?
Why doesn't anything feel as meaningful as I thought it would?
Why do I keep becoming the person everyone else needs me to be?
If you've ever asked yourself those questions…
you're not broken.
You may simply have a story that's asking to be understood.
As children, we don't simply experience life.
We make sense of it.
We begin asking questions like:
The answers we discover quietly become the beliefs through which we see ourselves, others, and the world.
That's why your story still matters.
Not because it explains everything.
Because it helps make sense of what you're living today.
Before survival shaped how you lived…
Goodness shaped who you were.
I believe every person is created with goodness, purpose, and something uniquely beautiful to bring into the world.
That goodness isn't erased by what happens to us.
Sometimes…
It became hidden beneath the ways you learned to survive.
The ways you've learned to survive probably made perfect sense.
These aren't weaknesses.
They're intelligent responses to the life you've lived.
The tragedy isn't that they worked.
The tragedy is that they remained long after the danger was gone.
The tragedy is that we mistake survival for the only way it's possible to live.
The person you became to survive is not the whole of who you are.
Healing isn't becoming someone new.
It's rediscovering who you've been underneath your survival all along.
As your story begins making sense…
you begin making sense to yourself.
And little by little…
you begin living from the goodness that has always been there.
Freedom isn't a destination.
It's a direction.
We'll begin with your story.
Not to relive the past.
But to understand what it came to mean.
Together we'll become curious about the beliefs that quietly shaped your life.
We'll honor the ways you've learned to survive.
And when the time is right…
we'll begin untangling who you are from the ways you've had to survive.
One conversation at a time.
For much of my life, I believed the story my wounds told me about who I was.
I learned to survive by becoming who I thought everyone else needed me to be.
Everything changed when I realized something painful.
The people who had wounded me were no longer shaping my life.
I was continuing that work for them.
As I began making sense of my own story, I discovered that the person I had become to survive wasn't the whole of who I was.
That discovery changed my life.
Today, it's the privilege of my life to walk alongside others as they rediscover that same truth.
It may feel buried.
Protected.
Hidden beneath years of surviving.
But it isn't gone.
I'd be honored to hear your story.
